We’re carrying on our mission to bring you some delicious vegan cakes, and our Chai-Spiced Vegan Chocolate Cake is a real winner. The cake is dark, moist, and full of flavour – the recipe is based on another of Marianne Stewart’s creations in her beautiful book Nourish Cakes.
We’ve finished our cake with a beautiful spiced chocolate & coconut cream icing of our own creation (which doesn’t include any of the margarine or butter substitutes that you find in most vegan icing). Topped with dark chocolate curls. The chai spices add a lovely complexity to the cake, but if you’d prefer your cake without them, we’re happy to oblige – just leave us a note with your order.
